About Me
I am a Specialist Anaesthetist providing care for both routine and complex surgical procedures.
I completed my specialist anaesthesia training in Australia within large tertiary teaching hospitals, gaining extensive experience managing high-risk and complex surgical patients across multiple specialties.
I subsequently undertook two years of advanced fellowship training in Major Surgery and Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia, developing expertise in perioperative medicine, advanced haemodynamic management, and high-acuity care.
I understand that undergoing surgery can feel uncertain or stressful. My role is to ensure your anaesthetic care is carefully planned, clearly explained, and tailored specifically to you.
I work closely with your surgeon and healthcare team to ensure a coordinated and safe perioperative experience.

Pre-Anaesthetic Questionnaire
Please complete this questionnaire at least 48 hours before your procedure. It takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. All information is handled confidentially and used solely for your perioperative care.
Fees & Billing
Anaesthetic fees vary depending on the type and complexity of surgery, the duration of the procedure, and individual medical factors.
Where possible, a written estimate of fees will be provided prior to your procedure.
How are fees calculated?
Anaesthetic fees are based on:
• The type and complexity of the procedure
• The expected duration of surgery
• Your medical history and overall health
• Whether the procedure is performed in a public or private hospital
Fees are structured in accordance with Medicare and professional guidelines.
Payment Information
Payment is sometimes required prior to or on the day of surgery.
We accept electronic transfer and major credit cards. This will be organised by a billing company called Probills.
Final fees may vary if the nature or duration of surgery changes unexpectedly.
If you are insured, your health fund will cover part of the anaesthetic fee.
In some cases, there may be an out-of-pocket cost (known as a gap). If applicable, this will be discussed with you in advance.
Private Health Insurance
Medicare
'Gap' Payments
Medicare provides a rebate for anaesthetic services. This rebate will be processed after your procedure.
Where possible, we aim to keep out-of-pocket expenses reasonable and transparent. If a gap payment applies, you will be informed prior to your procedure.
